Ewha Womans University

Ewha Womans University, founded in 1886 by American missionary Mary F. Scranton, is the world's largest women's university and one of South Korea's most prestigious institutions. Originally established as Ewha Haktang with just one student, the university has grown to educate nearly 25,000 women across 11 colleges, 15 graduate schools, and 66 research institutes. The Seoul campus in Sinchon features stunning architecture, including the award-winning Ewha Campus Complex (ECC)—an underground multi-level structure that has become an iconic Seoul landmark.
